Hi everybody!!!
The end of our academic course is getting closer and nowadays, we are dealing with past tenses in the classroom, that is the reason why we are going to put in practise all we have learnt making a presentation about your childhood.
To make it properly, take into account these rules:
1) Select pictures of you, when you were a child, up to now.
2) You can use as many slides as you want, but remember you only have 3 minutes for your whole presentation.
3) In each slide you should write a sentence using the past tense to describe what you were doing at that picture.
4) When you present your PowerPoint to the rest of the class, you should explain what you did in the pictures you have chosen and they can ask you as many questions as they want.

NEW PROJECT: A PHOTOSTORY
Dear students,
We are about to finish our unit 7 and from now on, you are able to describe a house, a bedroom and so on, that is why I have decided to do a final Project for this unit titled : A PHOTOSTORY.
To elaborate this Project, you have to follow these instructions:
1) Take a DINA A3 SHEET.
2) Try to collect all magazines and newspapers you have at home.
3) Make up a story with characters from those magazines and newspapers
4) Throughout this story you must describe the house or the bedroom of the main character.
So, as you can appreciate, you should design a kind of comic made with characters and ítems from magazines and newspapers. Be creative and original to get a better mark.
DEADLINE WILL BE: 12TH MAY.

MY IDEAL HOME!!!
Hi guys!!
In this unit you will learn vocabulary related to the house and household ítems and we will learn how to describe a house, a room, a picture....
To start with this unit I want you to make a comment about your ideal home. Imagine you earn enough money to buy your ideal house...how would it be?? Tell me something about the type of house, decoration, characteristics and why you consider this house is the ideal, the best for you.

NEW PROJECT: FILM REVIEW
Dear students,
Our Easter holidays finished and I hope your battery will be charged as we are at our last term. Do your best to get worthy final mark ok??
To start our term, I have decided to plan a new Project related to films. I know you like almost all type of films and you really distinguish what is fact and fiction so, for this Project, you are working in pairs and you should follow these instructions:
1) Discuss with your partner and choose a film.
2) Make a film review about the film selected following the hints you have in your student´s book. This composition will be marked.
3) Design a PowerPoint presentation to introduce this film to your classmates. At this presentation you should take into consideration these ítems: Name of the film, type of film, main characters, main events and why you recommend it.
4) At your presentation, you can include pictures, short videos about the film but don´t forget the most important thing: it is an oral presentation and the pairing should talk naturally and fluently.
5) As usual, CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY can raise your final mark.
6) Deadline: 14th April.

NURSE MATILDA: MAKING UP A NEW ENDING
Dear students,
We finished our reading: NURSE MATILDA but I¨m really interested in you performing a new ending of this story, that´s why we are going to divide the classroom into two groups and in two Fridays, more or less, you should be able to perform a new ending of this story.
Things to bear in mind:

Things to bear in mind:
- It is an oral activity so, all members in the group will be marked taking into consideration their oral skills and the amount of oral production.
- Creativity and originality will increase or decrease your final mark.
- Organise your team to be efficient for instance, into small groups and remember that this is a group activity.
I trust you guys. I´m sure you will do your best!!!More information will be given in our English classroom.

We are about to finish our unit 5 related to sports and we have planned a new project for you to learn several things:
1) You are going to learn (with your Art & Crafts teacher, Thomas) how to edit a video
2) Moreover, in PE lessons (with Raquel) you are going to know the most important and basic rules when you are practising BASKETBALL
3) And finally in our English lessons you are dealing with modal verbs. All of them should be put in practise when you design your video displaying basketball rules that is, the things that you can do in a basketball match and the things you mustn´t
4) We will work in group of fours
5) In your video you should answer the following questions:

NEW TOPIC: SPORTS
Hi guys!!!
There is an overwhelming amount of scientfic evidence on the positive effects of sports and physical activity as a part of a healthy lifestyle. I know most of you are fond of sports aren´t you? I want to know how sport influences your life and if you consider it positive or negative...so, I invite you all to make comments on the blog about the sports you like most and least and to tell me how these sports influence your life.
